Life has imitated art once again, and this time, in the strangest way possible.
Mimicking the three-breasted woman in Arnold Schwarzenegger's 1990 film Total Recall, Jasmine Tridevil (not her real name) had surgery to also get some tri-cleavage. Apparently, an extra prosthetic breast just wasn't enough.
The 21-year-old told Real Radio 104.1 that she asked over 50 doctors to do the procedure before one finally agreed. "It was really hard finding someone that would do it too because they’re breaking the code of ethics," she said, adding that the surgery cost $20,000 and included a “nipple” implant. "He made me sign a non-disclosure agreement as he was scared he'd get in trouble."
Tridevil is using her three breasts to get her 15 minutes of fame. On her Facebook page, she announced that she was flying to New York to appear on Inside Edition and would later be appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
She also has a camera crew following her around in hopes to pitch a reality show about her life to MTV.
Tridevil says her parents weren't as thrilled about the surgery as their daughter. "My mum ran out of the door. She won’t talk to me. She won’t let my sister talk to me. My dad… he really isn't happy. He is kind of ashamed of me but he accepted it.”
While some may think she did this to gain attention from the opposite sex, Tridevil insists that she had the surgery to do the opposite. "I got it because I wanted to make myself unattractive to men. Because I don’t want to date anymore," she said. "Most guys would think [the extra breast is] weird and gross. But I can still feel pretty because if I wore makeup and cute clothes, I can still, you know… feel pretty."
